These terms govern your use of Praana. Praana is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice; the health disclaimer below is the section to read first.

AGREEMENT

Acceptance of Terms

  1. 1By downloading, installing, or using Praana, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the app.
  2. 2If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use Praana.
  3. 3You must be at least 13 years old to use Praana. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
  4. 4These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Praana team. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

THE APP

Description of Service

  1. 1Praana is a personal wellness application that tracks health metrics including heart rate variability (HRV), stress levels, sleep, fitness, hydration, and related wellness data.
  2. 2The app integrates with Android Health Connect to access health and fitness data you’ve authorized us to read.
  3. 3Praana provides wellness insights, trends, and recommendations based on your personal health data.
  4. 4We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the app at any time. We will notify you of significant changes where possible.
  5. 5Praana requires an account to use. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  2. 2The health data and insights provided by Praana are for informational and wellness purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
  3. 3Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your health regimen based on information from the app.
  4. 4Heart rate, HRV, and stress measurements provided by Praana may not be clinically accurate and should not be relied upon for medical decisions.
  5. 5If you experience a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately. Do not rely on Praana to provide emergency assistance.
  6. 6Users with pre-existing medical conditions should consult their doctor before using any health monitoring features of the app.

YOUR ACCOUNT

User Responsibilities

  1. 1You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Praana cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain security.
  2. 2You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm Praana or its users.
  3. 3You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your profile information up to date.
  4. 4You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Praana app.
  5. 5You agree to use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

LEGAL

Limitation of Liability

  1. 1Praana is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  2. 2Praana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
  3. 3Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
  4. 4Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

UPDATES

Changes to Terms

  1. 1We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification or email.
  2. 2Your continued use of Praana after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
  3. 3If you disagree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the app and may delete your account from the Settings screen.
