These terms govern your use of Praana. Praana is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice; the health disclaimer below is the section to read first.

AGREEMENT

Acceptance of Terms

  1. 1These Terms are an agreement between you and Tanmay Murlidhar Reddy, the developer of Praana, established in Ireland (‘we’, ‘us’). By installing or using Praana you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Praana.
  2. 2Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Please read it together with these Terms.
  3. 3You must be at least 13 years old to use Praana. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must read and agree to these Terms for you.
  4. 4These Terms apply to Praana on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and on Android. Where the two differ, the clause says so.
  5. 5If you read these Terms in a translation, the English version is the one that legally applies.

THE APP

What Praana Is

  1. 1Praana is a free personal wellness app for tracking sleep, stress, heart health, fitness, nutrition, hydration, medications and menstrual health. It has no ads and no in-app purchases, and it does not take payments.
  2. 2On iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch it works with Apple Health, and on Android with Health Connect, using only the data you allow. It does not connect to wearables directly.
  3. 3Some features use artificial intelligence. They are described under ‘AI Features’.
  4. 4We may add, change or remove features. We will try to tell you before removing anything important. Some features depend on your device, system version or region.

IMPORTANT

Health & Medical Disclaimer

  1. 1Praana is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor.
  2. 2Scores, trends, predictions (including period and fertile-window predictions), plans and AI answers are general wellness information only. Do not use Praana’s cycle predictions as contraception.
  3. 3Readings come from your devices through Apple Health or Health Connect and can be inaccurate. Do not make medical decisions on them alone.
  4. 4Talk to a qualified health professional before changing your medication, diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or take medicines. Never ignore medical advice or delay getting it because of something in Praana.
  5. 5Medication reminders can fail, for example if notifications are turned off or your phone is off. Do not rely on Praana alone for medicines that must be taken on time.
  6. 6In an emergency, call your local emergency number straight away. Praana cannot call for help, and it never contacts the emergency contact you save in it.

AI FEATURES

AI Features

  1. 1Ara, the chat assistant, and other AI features (such as meal and workout plans, cycle insights, food and equipment photo analysis, doctor-visit preparation, medication guides and news summaries) produce their answers with a third-party AI model from Mistral AI.
  2. 2Praana asks your permission before the first AI use. You can turn AI off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data → AI features (Ara). What is sent to the AI is described in the Privacy Policy.
  3. 3AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they sound confident. They are marked ‘AI-generated’ and are not medical, nutritional or other professional advice. Check anything important with a professional before acting on it.
  4. 4Do not use the AI features to create harmful, illegal, hateful or sexual content, or to get around their safety limits.
  5. 5If an AI answer is harmful, offensive or wrong, please report it with Report a Problem in Settings so we can look at it.

AGE

Age Limits

  1. 1You must be at least 13 to use Praana.
  2. 2Praana is for people aged 13 and over, in every country. If you are under 18, OvaFlow and every AI feature stay locked until a parent or guardian with their own Praana account links to you and switches them on. Partner cycle sharing is only for people aged 18 and over.
  3. 3Blood Report and Body Composition use adult reference ranges, so they stay locked until you turn 18, even with a linked parent. Contraception and libido logging in OvaFlow are hidden for under-18s.
  4. 4A parent or guardian who links to a teen confirms they are that teen's parent or legal guardian and aged 18 or over, and is responsible for the features they switch on.
  5. 5Praana applies these limits from the date of birth you enter. Please enter it accurately. Giving a false date of birth breaks these Terms.
  6. 6If you are a parent or guardian and think a child under 13 is using Praana, write to support@orinthia.app and we will delete the account and its data.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Your Account

  1. 1You sign in with Apple (iPhone and iPad only), Google, or an email address and password. Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  2. 2Give accurate information, keep it up to date, and do not share your account or use someone else’s.
  3. 3You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account (on iPhone, Settings → More → Delete Account). This also ends any parent sharing link and deletes what was shared through it. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
  4. 4We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law, or that puts other people or the service at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first.

USAGE RULES

Acceptable Use

  1. 1Use Praana only for your own personal, non-commercial and lawful purposes.
  2. 2Do not copy, modify, sell or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows you to.
  3. 3Do not interfere with the app or our servers, get around rate limits or security, use bots or scrapers, or try to reach other people’s accounts or data.
  4. 4Only share partner links and exported reports with people you choose. You are responsible for what you share.

OWNERSHIP

Licence & Intellectual Property

  1. 1We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, which we can withdraw if you break these Terms, to use Praana on devices you own or control, under these Terms and the rules of the store you got it from.
  2. 2Praana, its name, logo, design, text, code and content belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you no rights in them other than this licence.
  3. 3The data you enter stays yours. AI answers and plans are for your personal use.
  4. 4If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Praana without owing you anything.

THIRD PARTIES

Third-Party Services

  1. 1Praana relies on services run by others, including Apple, Google (Firebase, sign-in and Health Connect), Cloudflare and Mistral AI, and on outside content such as Open Food Facts, exercise videos, images and health news feeds.
  2. 2Their own terms apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability, and changes on their side may affect Praana.
  3. 3Some features need an internet connection, and your mobile carrier’s data charges may apply.

LIMITATIONS

Disclaimers & Liability

  1. 1Praana is provided free, ‘as is’ and ‘as available’. As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
  2. 2As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on health information, predictions or AI answers instead of professional advice.
  3. 3Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing in them affects your legal rights as a consumer.

APP STORES

Apple App Store & Google Play

  1. 1If you got Praana from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) applies together with these Terms. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Praana and its content.
  2. 2Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Praana. If Praana fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund any price you paid (Praana is free). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  3. 3We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claim about Praana, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection, privacy or Apple Health claims, and claims that it infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
  4. 4You confirm that you are not in a country under a US government embargo or designated by the US government as ‘terrorist supporting’, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  5. 5Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
  6. 6If you got Praana from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Google is not responsible for Praana.

UPDATES

Changes & Ending

  1. 1We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the app before important changes take effect. If you keep using Praana after that, the new Terms apply.
  2. 2If you do not agree with a change, stop using Praana and delete your account.
  3. 3You can stop using Praana at any time. If we stop offering Praana, we will try to give you notice first so you can export your data.
  4. 4If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies.

GOVERNING LAW

Law, Jurisdiction & Contact

  1. 1These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
  2. 2The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
  3. 3Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to put things right.
